When your budget or time is limited, colored elevations are an affordable alternative to a full color perspective.  The illusion of a 3D perspective is created by using color, shade, shadow and texture.  Colored elevations include adding both full entourage (landscaping, sky and clouds, driveways, roads etc.) and color including shade, shadow, and texture to your existing hand drawn or computer generated elevation.
